I work out so much more than I did in high school, it's not even funny. I'm no Hercules, but "me-today" could totally kick the ass of "me-then". I can't even figure out how I carried those 40-lb. bookbags down the Quarter-Mile Hall (which, if you hadn't seen the pictures yet, DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE).

You know, come to think of it, would the you of old have used the phrase, "totally kick the ass of"?
As those charming cigarette ads are so fond of saying, "You've come a long way, baby!"

I haven't gained a pound since high school. I'm still as lean (a nice way of saying "scrawny" as I ever was).
I HAVE, however, gotten much better looking... as if that were even possible.
