Don't be afraid to post the details when you hear about or are involved in a wedding, engagement, birth, or whatever. Maybe you're the type who gets excited about divorces -- whatever floats your boat. Anyway, don't hesitate to post the announcement here. I do a lousy job of watching the newspaper for those kinds of things, but I've tried to post the handful I've seen on occasion. Don't hesitate to add things if you hear about them...just stay away malicious rumor-mongering, if you please.

What about cheerful and pleasant rumor mongering? Or perhaps malicious rumor mongering, with the addition of rainbows or puppies in the story somewhere?

Rumor-mongering may be acceptable, but if it involves puppies, I'd rather you keep that on the alt.animal.love forums where it belongs.

Well, the Pacific Northwest has me a touch isolated from most of our classmates, so I don't have much to offer in the rumor department. I'm coming for a visit in June so maybe I'll pick up something interesting when I come back...
