I work for "Sprint" together with Nextel directing their hapless reps on how to sell things/etc....things were better before we aquired that whole "Sprint" thing, Nextel was a nicer place to be!

I noticed a few months ago that my Sprint service got all crappy. Must have been when it joined with Nextel.

Hah! Unlikely, we never realized how good we had it at Nextel until the Sprint came in with their "merger of equals." I'll take my .25 on the share and "gift" of 10 extra stocks back, thank you very much. We laugh at the "equals" thing...because the Nextel employees are slowly getting butt hurt. While we are grateful for not being laid off, I still have labeled it the "S.H.A.F.T"...or "Sprint Habanero A55hole Torture."

I am just finishing up my maternity leave Going back to work on Thursday. I work as a therapy program manager and occupational therapist in a skilled nursing facility in Gresham, Oregon. We've been out here about 8 months and so far so good. I'm fortunate to love what I do...although I must admit being a new mom is pretty great too!

I have been at a software company for the last 7 years, Now I design and write Point Of Sale and Credit Card Processing software. It's not going bad. I plan to leave to go to school next year. I skiped that right out of high school.
I spend my spare time trying to finish my private pilot and scuba diving. So if there are any Valley Scuba divers contact me, We could go hit a local dive spot sometime.

I joined the Military and did Search and Rescue for the Coast Guard for the last 5 years. I have just recently left active duty and became a reserve, my wife did not want to move... guess I'm wipped. I now work at OpenSolutions as a system administrator. We do all the processing for many banks around the country.

I work as a Creative Editor/Producer/Director at an advertising agency in Kansas City. I've been here for about 15 months and I love it. Before that, I was a Commercial Editor/Producer at the CBS affiliate in KC. In early February I started at Premier Studios as an interactive editor/motion graphics designer. The old job turned out to be total crap.

My job is not quite as exciting as motion graphics designer (I have NO artistic talent whatsoever)... I'm a programmer (mainly web) for a bandwidth/solutions provider and ISP here in Des Moines. It's pretty boring, lots of .net stuff but I'm comfortable and not looking to move out of DM. Been at the company for nearly 6 years now, and a programmer for about 2 of them (worked in the hardware side of things here before finishing college).
