I am an Individual and Family Counselor for delinquent youth. I like it but, like a midget at a urinal, you gotta stay on your toes.

I'm also working on my masters at Drake in Secondary School Counseling. I guess I hope to be a High School Counselor soon (two semesters left).

I was going to Grad school and wow I stay at home with my kids. Less stressful. I just had my third 3 months ago. Congrats to all the new parents!

I primarily stay at home with my 15-month old daughter, but

I also work part-time (partially from home) doing clinical research at the University of Iowa Hospital

Oh, and in my free time, I teach Bradley Method natural childbirth classes

Nope, I was looking for someone with those skills that wanted a new job. Don't worry, I'm not a recruiter...I'm just in the employ of a firm that needs a couple more .NET folks.

Speaking of my employment...I should properly answer the question that this thread was created for. I'm the IT Director & Support Manager for a software company in West Des Moines.

Seems .NET people are in high demand around Des Moines. Guess I've chosen the right market for someone who is too stubborn to move out of this god forsaken town.

And yeah, not looking for a job yet - really happy where I am and am just enjoying my wife, kids and comfortable job for the moment

well seems like everyone is doing well these days! I've jumped from job to job, drinking alot and getting fired for being a smart mouth and a bit out spoken and opinionated (no suprize huh?) but I'm currently working at "Signature Flight Support" at the des moines airport. I primarily re-fuel commertial and private aircraft of all sorts. I also can move planes, clean them....you get the idea I could all but roll it over, spread its tail and say I love you and mean it afterward.
